Wild West LEGO Diorama
The LEGO Western diorama captures the atmosphere of classic Western movies with amazing detail—made entirely of LEGO bricks, of course. Life is bustling in town: a bank robbery, a train arrival, the sheriff and outlaws, a saloon and a blacksmith’s shop—you’ll find everything a die-hard Western fan could want here.
The History of LEGO Wild West
LEGO officially released its Western-themed sets in 1996–1997, then returned briefly in 2002 with three iconic sets. To coincide with the 2013 film *The Lone Ranger*, LEGO once again released Wild West sets—which also formed the basis of the exhibition.
The creation by Róbert Borda and László Uhrovszky is not simply a replica of the sets: the LEGO city comes to life in a realistic way, using a unique construction technique that evokes the atmosphere familiar from the movies.
The City Where Every LEGO Brick Tells a Story
- Bank, sheriff's office, saloon —the town center, where events take place every day
- Walls built from cheese blocks – lathing made using a unique technique
- Bakery, general store, gun shop, bathhouse —everyday life in the Wild West
- Undertaker —because where there’s a duel, there’s bound to be a headstone...
The Train Is Coming – LEGO Locomotive with Full Set of Cars
The locomotive from the 79111 Constitution Train Chase set holds its own even without any modifications, but the designers took it a step further: the LEGO train pulls into the station accompanied by three passenger cars in different styles. Of course, the train doesn’t stop at the edge of town. The diorama also showcases the world of railroad construction: tracks being laid, stone quarries, and workers—even convicts—at work in the background.
Custom mail coach and expandable terrain table
The dimensions of the original Stagecoach Escape set are slightly out of proportion, but here it is shown in a modified version: perfect proportions, colors, and style. What’s more, the city is constantly expanding. According to the plans, a viaduct crossing a valley and an Indian camp will soon be added to the diorama.
